Balderson’s over 140-year heritage stands for excellence in cheese, with a legacy built on our dedication to the timeless art of cheesemaking. As passionate cheese connoisseurs, our goal is to preserve the craft of Canadian cheesemaking, ensuring those cherished moments – whether around the dinner table or in a fine restaurant – continue to delight for generations.

To inspire the next generation of cheesemakers with the same pride, dedication, and craftsmanship, Balderson has created the Artisan Cheesemakers Scholarship. This initiative is dedicated to encouraging new talented artisans to preserve the fine art of cheese production to continue the creation of beloved cheese products and dishes enjoyed by people across Canada.
